Origin

The name behind the standard.

Ahzul — meaning "god blue" — was our ABKC-registered blue-nose pit bull, and the truest protector our family has ever known. He was the constant in our home: patient with the kids, present with us, and unwavering in his duty. From the day we brought him in, he stood watch. Not because he was trained to. Because it was who he was.

Here in Arizona, he contracted valley fever — a silent, regional illness we didn't recognize until it was too late. Even through the sickness, he was still here for us. Still moving. Still serving. Right up until his last breath, he never stopped being a protector. That was Ahzul.

We named this company after him because the standard he set is the standard we hold ourselves to. Consistent. Present. Willing to give everything to protect the people in his care. Every assessment we run, every institution we certify, every child we help keep safe — that's for him.

Constant Vigilance
Never a day where he wasn't on and moving for us.
Family First
Protected our kids and our home with his life.
Silent Duty

Legacy Standard
The bar every SafeGuard engagement is measured against.
